In this post I will begin the planning and analysing of voices that I will be using in my final radio station. After listening to variety of different radio stations, who have diverse target audiences, it is clear to me that whatever the target audience, all radio stations are particular when it comes to the role of certain parts on the radio. This may be because they want to keep the radio station authentic and linked to the target audience. For example, a Formal Radio presenter would not be presenting a radio station that is targeted at Teenagers. Therefore, I have taken this into account and broken down each character in my script and picked the most appropriate voice, in order to keep my radio station authentic and keep it linked to my audience.
